Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American Vietnamese business owner living in the city of Orange California. With my wonderful partner JP and the happy-go lucky father Henry. My Instagram account, @annephung, is where the majority of my followers are. I post about my daily life, the good and the bad. I came to America with my brother and parents in the year 1990. At one and a half years young. I'm not here sharing my life with you if it weren't because my parents are devoted to dedication and hard work. To give them an opportunity to live a successful future, I focused on success and worked hard to achieve it. My life was set out for me to attend university, find work in a corporate as well as marry and then buy an apartment. The life I had planned for me was not what it turned out. The amount of money I earned and the importance of my work did not make me happy. I felt as if I was wasting my life to earn an income. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with people helped me pursue a new career as an instructor. This year I will celebrate my 7th Anniversary. In 2014 I began my own small business. It is rare to find an Asian woman in this business. My aim in the industry is to help create a durable and healthy life style that is in line with the desires of my customers. Furthermore, I try in empowering others to achieve the goals they have set for themselves and achieve anything they wish to do. My career was beginning to grow, I was struck by one of the greatest losses in my life: my mother's death. To be in Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry her with me and think of her every day. Even if you can't see it initially, the universe can be a bit elusive in giving us what we really need. It was my mother's unexpected death that shaped me forever. And I really believe that it provided me with a chance to live my life. On Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. Now it was time to go on to her next chapter and for me to have the chance to live one that was meaningful and enjoyable. The 30's are the only moment that I feel as if that I'm alive. When I tell the story of my journey, it's to ensure that other people will be able to understand my thoughts and feelings. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. Also, that there exists true love. Also that therapy is necessary and not unusual. Finally that wellness is your greatest wealth. As death is all there is in this world, I hope you enjoy living your life to the fullest and leave with no regrets.
