Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually that are in the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from these films. She started reviewing late in 2009, gaining some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus lupa. In 2010 she joined Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome Family. She was on the website until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The role of a guest in Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The show reviews horrible movies geared towards children, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult-oriented comedy. Her first review was in late 2009. She earned a great deal of attention through her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a part in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also be seen on numerous episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
